WORKFLOW AND DATA MANAGEMENT



It’s all in the planning … we are here to help you realise your editorial and creative ambitions on schedule and within budget. Our Post Production Supervisor, with support from experienced Co-ordinators and highly skilled Workflow Specialists, will support you in the development and creation your workflow and manage your bespoke post-production process through to delivery and archive. Being part of BBC Scotland provides enormous flexibility to producers especially for fast turn around and live programmes requiring playout, live VT or additional transmission support.

OFFLINE AND FINISHING



BBC Street is fitted with 20 Edit Suites all with Avid MC with Nitris DX I/O, Saphire effects and Baselight Editions. All suites have access to a Production PC with Media Composer and Media Central UK for viewing and logging. We have multi-channel audio monitoring and additional I/O for studio/ live productions. We are pleased to offer Baselight Grading facilities which support the creation and delivery of the highest quality images, our Baselight for Avid workflow allows us to move seamlessly between grade and edit, minimising the need to go back to the colour suite with last minute changes. We have a core team of talented, award winning finishing editors who have a wealth of experience across a variety of genres including scripted drama & comedy, factual, specialist factual, events, children’s, Gaelic, News & Sport

DUBBING



Our dubbing theatres are equipped with the latest Avid Pro Tools systems that allow you to record, edit, mix music and audio and create the sound scheme that you require for your project. We can offer tracklay suites and Foley suites and we have a team of craft Sound Designers and Dubbing Mixers who are on hand to work with you and your craft editors to design your sound and prepare and mix your programme. BBC Scotland holds TV and Radio archive from the 1950s to present day. As well as hosting its own Digital Library of 300,000 programmes and items, BBC Scotland also offers desktop access to all archive repositories across the BBC. If you are making a BBC commissioned programme and would like access to BBC Archive services please contact mediamanagementscotland@bbc.co.uk to arrange for research assistance, or the opportunity to research the archive in person at the BBC at Pacific Quay.

GRAPHIC DESIGN



BBC Street also offers a Graphic Design team on site to work with you on the design and delivery of your project from motion design to visual effects, branding, print or software development and interface design, photography, props or even augmented reality, set design as well as live operations, sport analysis and training.
